The Call for Papers for the 2014 老司机视频 Conference Is Out

Preparation for the 9th 老司机视频 Graduate Student Conference is underway as the Call for Papers has been released. This year鈥檚 edition focuses on 鈥淐yber-Developments in International Relations: Impacts on an Evolving World.鈥 The goal of this conference is to build awareness about the contemporary evolutions within international relations. It will seek to analyze the changes that technology has brought within the field and to understand how it is used to enhance the discourse, from interactions through media to the subtleties of the use of Twitter and other social media by diplomats, activists and politicians.

As in previous years, the 老司机视频 Conference Team has brought together a dozen happy candidates in the master鈥檚 in International Relations and Diplomacy program at 老司机视频 in Paris, under the coordination of Stefan De Las (Class of 2014).

The Conference Team has been steadily sending out the Call for Papers to universities around the world and posting it on websites such as the International Studies Association () and StudentCompetitions.com, a Swedish-based website that promotes student events and competitions worldwide to some 260,000 members ().

The Conference Team has also been preparing marketing and logistic strategies and planning fundraising events to finance the conference, such as a Halloween party on November 26 at Belushi鈥檚 in Paris, which was welcomed by many French and international students in the Paris community.
